  • Favorites: Saved stations, navigation units, and locations

  • Device Identification: Unique identifierForVendor (never transmitted)
  • Location Data: GPS coordinates (processed on-device and not transmitted to our servers)

Data Storage & Cloud Sync

iOS/iCloud: CloudKit integration for cross-device syncing. Your synced data is stored in your personal iCloud account, subject to Apple's privacy framework.

Android: Local storage only. No cloud sync on Android.

Third-Party Services

  • Apple (CloudKit/StoreKit): Cloud sync and subscriptions. Synced preferences are encrypted.
  • NOAA APIs: Tide, current, weather, and chart data. Location queries are not stored.
  • Open-Meteo: Weather data. Location queries are not stored.
  • RevenueCat: Subscription management. Payment info handled by platform.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties.

Data Security

  • On-device encryption for sensitive fields
  • HTTPS for all API communications
  • No PII transmitted to analytics services

Your Privacy Rights

  • Uninstall the app to remove all local data
  • Manage iCloud settings to control synced data retention
  • Request deletion by emailing admin@ospreyapplications.com
  • RevenueCat data deletion within 30 days

Children's Privacy

The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

International Users
